About the role 

We seek a professional who can combine strong technical expertise with sales acumen to engage with potential clients about our services and software solutions. As a Presales Engineer at Syndicode, you will be the technical foundation of our sales process. You will collaborate closely with prospective clients to understand their business needs and craft tailored web application solutions that leverage our comprehensive tech stack.


What you’ll do

• Engage with potential clients to gather technical requirements and provide expert advice on web app development using our tech stack (JavaScript frameworks, Python, AWS)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, high-performance web applications aligning with client objectives and technical feasibility
• Create and deliver detailed technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that highlight the value and capabilities of Syndicode’s solution
• Serve as the primary technical contact during the sales process, addressing client questions and concerns, ensuring a smooth handover to the project delivery teams
• Work closely with sales and project management teams to strategize on business opportunities and ensure alignment of proposed solutions with client expectations
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of modern web development technologies and cloud services to inform solution design and client consultations.

What you’ll need

• 2+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing role as a Technical Consultant, Presales, or Solutions Engineer
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• Fluency in English
• Strong experience in web application development, with proficiency in one or more of the following languages and frameworks - Python, Node.js, JavaScript, React.js
• Solid knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including cloud architecture, deployment, and management
• Understanding of data pipeline creation, data cleaning, and feature engineering
• Solid knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and guide them through the technical aspects of the sales process
• Ability to understand and empathize with client needs and objectives, ensuring that proposed solutions align with their goals
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and project management.
