About the role
As a QA Engineer, you are crucial in ensuring software quality. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, working with developers, and collaborating with teams to enhance testing processes. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be vital in delivering robust, user-friendly solutions and ensuring client satisfaction through quality assurance practices.
What you’ll be doing
- Requirements analysis and processing
- Creation of test plans
- Creation of checklists/test cases and defect reports
- Creation of test reports
- API testing
- Data migration testing
- Performance testing
- Security testing
- Usability testing
- Frontend cross-browser testing
- Communication with the team and the customer
What you’ll need
- 3+ years of experience (preferably web products on Desktop)
- Experience in producing key test assets (requirements gathering, test cases creation, etc.)
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Understanding of QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies SDLC knowledge
- Knowledge of common debugging
- Knowledge of client-server architecture
- Solid knowledge and experience working with SQL
- Experience with Rest API testing, knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI spec
- Experience with/understanding of GraphQL API testing
- Experience with Postman or similar tools
- Experience with Performance testing, knowledge of JMeter or similar tools
- Basic experience with Security testing (authorization bypass, code injections, XSS)
- At least Upper-Intermediate English level
Nice to have
- Basic experience with automation testing
- Quality assurance certifications
- Experience with mobile application testing
